The Waukesha Taxpayers League is a grassroots volunteer organization dedicated to promoting responsible government through oversight, research and dissemination of information to the public.

Founded in 1989, the Waukesha Taxpayers League was originally created by a group of concerned taxpayers in regard to massive tax levy increases.

Recently, the WTL lead a successful campaign against a School District of Waukesha referendum, defeating it with nearly 70% of the vote.
